Marilyn Lindsay-Brass passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2023, at the age of 94. She was born in Great Falls, Montana on September 23rd, 1928, to Chris and Elsie Volk where she attended school and graduated from Great Falls High School. She had many hobbies, a few of her favorite being out in her yard planting flowers and digging in the dirt. Another being her four-legged companions that went everywhere with her. And she always looked forward to her annual summer party that she had for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Chris and Elsie Volk, her brother Bob; sisters, Marjorie and Bernice; son, Richard “Dick” Juvik and the love of her life Warren Brass, and her four-legged friends, Patches, Buster, Bella, and Bear.
She is survived by her children Marlie and Chuck Loranz of Bozeman. Scott and Deb Lindsay of Helena, Steve Lindsay (Michelle) of Belgrade; daughter-in-law, Linda Juvik of Helena, along with 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
The family would like to send out a special thank you to McKenzie, Erin, Cassie and the rest of the staff at Son Haven assisted living facility for the wonderful care she received for the past year and a half of her life.

Scott, Steve, and Family. I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. Marilyn was always such an understanding, and patient person and considered all of us “crazies” part of the Family. I think she always knew what we were up to, but trusted us not to end up in “too much trouble”!
RIP Marilyn! She was a great one!
