We can only imagine how she’s dancing in heaven now! Marilyn Barling, Grandma to most, went home August 14, 2012 surrounded by her family. When she received the news of her bleeding aneurism three weeks ago, it was her ticket home. Although Marilyn deeply loved her family and friends, she intensely longed to be with her Lord Jesus.
Marilyn was born in Cody, WY where she also raised her three children before moving to Helena, MT in later years. Her occupations were many: running a couple restaurants, landscaping, accounting, painting and raising money for Right to Life to save babies. Her passion was her family, going to the grandkids sport events and praying w/out ceasing but her biggest passion was her love of Christ and that all would know Him.
She is survived by her children Melanie Ferebee, Russell (Connie) Ferebee & Anita (Jay) Sherley all from Helena, MT; her sisters Margo (Jerry) Boyd & Audrey (Bob) Gard, 7 grandkids, 10 great grandkids and her Mount Helena Community Church family, all who adored her & called her Grandma.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis & Juanita Barling, and her sister Kathy.
Due to a send off celebration while Marilyn was still with us a few weeks ago, the family will have a small private gathering, and then she will be laid to rest in Cody, WY in a family plot.

I worked with Marilyn at the prolife calling center. She was one of the best trying to save as many life’s as she could one call at a time. She will be greatly missed as she was such a remarkable person. I can imagine the welcome home party she is having now with the lord.
