Marshall David Lay was born without heartbeat on Nov. 20th, 2012 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, MT @ 1:35am.
Marshall is the cherished son of Jared and Heather Lay of East Helena, MT. He returned to his Heavenly Father and was greeted by many relatives including g. grandparents; Raymond and Esther Lay, Henry and May Reimers, Grace Osterhout, Clarence Goodsell and Loy Stines, Ray and Maxine Powers, Aunt Vonnie Lay, Uncle Randal Lay, and cousin Luke Sanburg.
A private graveside funeral service for family was held on Nov. 24th @ Forestvale Cemetary in Helena officiated by Bishop Neal Campbell. Arrangements provided by Retz Funeral Home. The hope of Marshall’s arrival caused much joy and anticipation for his family. He is deeply loved and mourned by his siblings Jayden, Cooper, Micah, and Ramsey Lay.
His family would like to thank their many friends and family for their support, including the staff of St. Peter’s Hospital; namely Dr. Nowak, nurses- Jodi, Kama, Theresa, and Jamie S. for their extreme compassion and care for Heather and Marshall.
