Matthew Manuel Trujillo, Jr., 28, also known as “Mr. Aidsly” was born February 11, 1985. Matt passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, March 27th in Helena, MT of unknown causes.
Matt enjoyed being outdoors, entertaining, performing, making his friends and family smile, and living life to the fullest. Matt’s mother Diane Lynn Trujillo preceded him in death and it was hard for him at times. She was his rock and he and his sister had a very strong bond with her. Matt had a passion for being in front of a crowd and had a dream to be famous. During the last couple years of his life he was living that dream. Never a dull moment with Matt.
He is survived by his father Manuel Trujillo Jr.; sister, Samantha Trujllo; niece, Alexia Lynn; nephew, Jamison John, and brother-in-law, Marcus Allen Thomas. He will be loved and missed in this life by his many friends and family; Matt breathed life, love and laughter into all that he did.
Crossing Over
Oh, please don’t feel guilty
It was just my time to go.
I see you are still feeling sad,
And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime,
And for some it’s not many years
I don’t want you to keep crying
You are shedding so many tears.
I haven’t really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home,
And I’m closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say
my name, I’m standing next to you,
I know you long to see me,
But there’s nothing I can do.
But I’ll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when your time comes to
“cross over,” I’ll be there
to take your hand.

I am sorry for your loss of Matt. Please accept my condolences.
When our greatest enemy ”death’ strikes, it can bring overwhelming pain and sorrow.
However, we can find comfort from Psalm 55:22 which promises God will sustain us if we throw our burdens on him.
We also have the resurrection hope (John 5:28,29). We can look forward to seeing our dead loved ones again, including Matt.
I hope these scriptural thoughts bring you some comfort.

I was Matt’s Seventh Grade Language Arts Teacher at Helen Middle School. I loved Matt and all his ‘behaviors’. Matt was a very real person with a very loving and warm heart. It breaks my heart that he is no longer with us. At the Eagles one Big Band Night he asked me to dance and we did – he said he did not know how but did very well. I cherish that memory!
I know Matt is with his Dear Mother and the Lord.
God Rest Your Soul, Matt
My deepest sympathy to his Sister and to his friends….

I grew up fast and remember you there, full of enthusiasm, always kicking it at lunch and getting in fights and going to parties where we felt invincible in our heads, the best of times lied ahead. The time seems to fly faster as our lives progressed, for having you as a friend throughout high school and more , I feel blessed to have known you and had good times. Until my end, where we may meet again, my friend.

Hey Cousin. I know over the years we have drifted apart. I remember our last face to face conversation was me chewing you out cause you were smoking in Gram’s bathroom just after she died. But that doesn’t mean I ever stopped loving you. You were the first baby I ever babysat. I loved spending summers with Aunt Diane, Uncle Manuel, you and Sammi. You were the cutest freckled faced little man I ever knew. Ever since you left this earth I have had mixed feelings. One minute I’m sad that another one of family members has left us at way to young of an age. Then next minute I’m so mad at you. I will make sure Sammi is ok. After all I am the oldest cousin and it’s my job. I have comfort in knowing that you are wrapped in Aunt Diane’s arms right now. And Gram is standing on one side cussing you out for being there and Aunt Shiela is on the other side doing the same. But you are in good hands and they will take care of you and I know you are smiling down on us all. And I know you will be watching over your baby sister. Love you Matt!

Matt,
You know you were a part of our family more than not at all. My mom loved you as her own and hoped that you and Tara would work. I remember sitting on our front lawn talking to you and Tara. I am so sad that you are gone. I often think, how can it just be that all of a sudden you are not with us any longer? Keep your loved ones protected and safe as you watch over them. Rest In Peace Matt <3

I am so sorry to hear about Matt. Matt spent a lot of time at our house and Adam spent a lot of time at his. All of the boys made it Hell on your teachers in grade school. I can’t count the number of phone calls I got from the teachers……They were all afraid to see you guys all coming. Six girls and the rest boys!!!!!!!! I would be afraid too. Mr. Hanson was a saint and he couldn’t wait for all of you to be in his class! The phone call I remember the most is the one I got from the police at 2:30 in the morning. The boys were drinking and snuck out of the house. They decided to go on a little adventure. The walked down to Subway, one of them called 911 and hung up. I think they forgot there was fresh snow on the ground. The cops just followed the footprints……….Adam’s first MIP and probably Matt’s too. I am happy you all have the memories…..Matt is looking after everybody else now. My thoughts and prayer are with all of Matt’s Family and Friends. Take care & God Bless you. Lynette Schmit
