Maureen M. Johnston, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on June 10th 2021. Maureen was born March 11, 1948 to George Johnston and Christina Ward. She was raised in New York city.
After graduating Highschool Maureen became a licensed practical nurse, and continued taking care of people her entire career, but her greatest accomplishment was her son James. She loved him with everything she had. She was so proud of his military service and often donated to many veteran’s organizations.
Maureen also enjoyed good wine nights with her closest friends gathered around, long snuggle sessions with her favorite fury friend Sable, and any good television series to get caught-up in.
Maureen is survived by her son James Johnston, she is preceded in death by her parents.

I have known mareen threw the local tire shop I work for. We have been friends for many years. I would look forward to our visits twice a year when she would call to get her snow tires put on or taken off. I would meet her at her storage unit and would help load up her tires. Then escort her to get them put on and then escort her back to put the tires in storage. We always had such a fun time visiting. she so sweet and always made me laugh. I looked forward to our visit every season. You will be deeply missed from the family at kolar tire and my self.
