March 20, 1972 – February 17, 2021

Michael Keith Lee, 48, of Helena, MT passed away on February 17, 2021.  Mike was born to Duane (Dewey) and Karen (Clawson) Lee on March 20, 1972 in Plentywood, MT.  Mike grew up in Alkabo, ND where he gained his love for the outdoors and wildlife.

Mike graduated from Divide County High School in 1990.  He attended Bottineau College for wildlife management.  He graduated with a BA in Wildlife Biology from Montana State in Bozeman, MT.

Mike’s love for the outdoors led him to his long-time career for Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks as a Warden.  It was a job he loved and enjoyed.

Mike’s greatest love was his boys!  Keith (8) and Amos (6) kept him busy.  He loved taking them on adventures.  His love for wildlife is something the boys have learned and enjoyed with Mike.

Mike is survived by his boys Keith and Amos of Helena, MT, parents Duane and Karen Lee of Alkabo, ND, His brother Thomas “Tommy” and Jill Lee of Williston, ND.  Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and family.

Our hearts go out to Mikes loved ones. The world has lost such a great guy, all-around loving Dad and family man, loyal co-worker, humble and humorous. Mike loved his family, his career, and Montana. He carried the world on his shoulders with still a sparkle in his eyes, and he always had that quiet “Mike-smile”!❤️

Mike was a real hoot and told me some hilarious jokes. Intense but soft-spoken man. I’m sorry he passed so young.
