Michael Sean Dooley was born April 11, 1970 to Mike and Jan (Waldorf) Dooley in Riverton, Wyoming and left us on April 12, 2023. He attended school in the Wyoming mining towns of Shirley Basin and Jeffrey City and graduated in 1988. This remote lifestyle afforded him an appreciation of the outdoors. As a child, he was always in pursuit of salamanders and horny toads or filling a jar with the various inspects he collected. He truly enjoyed hunting and fishing and made some lengthy backpacking trips in the Wind River Mountains. Many hours were spent in the Red Desert looking for wild game and on the Sweetwater River looking to catch the biggest fish.
Sean moved to Montana in 1989. After some various employment endeavors, he was hired on with US Bearings (now Motion Industries). He was the inside store manager at the time of his passing.
Sean was very committed to his friends and prided himself with his independence. He lived life on his own terms and expected nothing of others. Sean’s humor was unparalleled as portrayed in his gag Christmas and birthday gifts to others.
He added golf to his recreational activities in his later years.
Sean was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Jan Dooley of Laurel; sister, Colleen Maurer (Phil) of Laurel; nephew, Donald Maurer of Dillon; and a niece, Choe Maurer of Laurel.
