Big Mike used to come to Farmers’s Market and buy candles from me, he always stopped by to give me a bad time & we would always have a good laugh. Many times he would come to my booth with his arms full of goods he had purchased and asked me to hold them for him while he shopped more. He was quite the guy. RIP Big Mike you left an impression, I have to smile when I think of you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike lived in the appartment above my mom for 18ish years. She passed away in December.
I have many memories of Mike. He was always so kind to my mom. He would give her Parrot Chocolates at Christmas, and bread during the Farmer’s Market.
I pray they are able to rekindle their friendship.

Mike was a keeper, although not easily caught.

We have been friends and brothers (from different mothers) going back to when our friendship began in 1967 at Dawson Junior College. I lived with him in his mother’s home as if we were related by blood. Our times together were many over the years and they were all special – cause that is what he was to me.

I will miss his consistent style with his ever changing story. He will always be my friend. Love ya bro.

I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Mike was a long time customer of mine mostly at Gabes (now Cedar st) Conoco. Also at Rock Hand, Power Townsend, and Motherlode. I enjoyed playful bantering with him. He will be missed by all of us at Conoco.
