Michael Andrew Estes (Mike) passed away at his home in Helena, Montana on February 26, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Mike was born on December 26, 1952 in Rockford, Illinois. He graduated from West High School and went to work for Dean Milk Company in Rockford. Later he moved to Helena, Montana and was employed at a creamery before working with his uncle painting water towers. He spent the rest of his life in Helena, working in several other trades.
Mike loved hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew David Estes. He is survived by his mother, Carol Kemp (Leo O’Farrell); his brother, Steve Estes (Lynn Sherlock); his niece, Alex Estes; along with several aunts and cousins.
