    Dear Jack and Family,
I just heard of Pat’s passing this morning and I am so very sorry for your families loss of Pat. Pat has been an inspiration in our lives and salon for over 25 years. I am deeply saddened to lose such a kind and close friend. She always spoke highly of her family and especially Jack who she loved dearly. Every time we spent time with Pat, we came away filled with joy, laughter and a better focus of what is important in life. We will never forget how she made us feel and how she treated everyone she came in contact with. We love you Pat!

Dear Jack, When I saw Pat’s sister Kathy at Capital City last year I told her that I missed seeing you and Pat. She told me about Pat’s illness but I did not realize that it was progressing so quickly. You were both so delightful to be around and made exercise fun. I am so sorry that she is gone from your life and from all of our lives. She was so special.

Jack, It’s always very difficult to express sincere thoughts at times like these because one feels so lost I do know however that the two of you were something of an inspiration to many of us. Thankyou Pat for letting me know a wonderful person. And Jack, you will always have the memories the two of you created. Think of them often when nothing else works. I very much enjoyed our conversations and will remember this lady as a special person. God bless. Bill

I was fortunate enough to have had Pat as my 9th grade algebra teacher, and was she ever a stellar teacher! Many years passed, and I got to see her again when Ty was in my sophomore English class at CHS. She was a wonderful woman, and one of my all-time favorite teachers. She made a difference in those whose lives she touched.

Missoulian reporter Eve Byron (formerly of the IR) wrote 3/10/19: “Women making gains in male-dominated jobs with ski patrols”. Her story could have highlighted Pat forty years ago, when she was an outstanding member of the Belmont Ski Patrol. Beyond being an accomplished skier, Pat was a confident and dedicated patroller. In partial recognition, she was awarded the coveted Mountaineering Badge by the National Ski Patrol. Jack, you and your family have indeed lost your Angel!
