Kathy, Mark and Scott- I was so saddened to hear about the death of your mom. She was a dear friend to both my “Nanny” and Mom. I can remember sitting in the front seat of the car between Gerda and Pat and being drug from one garage sale to another, promised that I would get a Coke and butterhorn at Gerties! I always marveled at the fact your Mom never looked a day over 50 for the last 30+ years. Keep your memories close during this hard time. Love- Nikki

Mary, Holly and I are deeply saddened to hear about Aunt Pat on Monday. We were so looking forward to another trip up there in April to hear more of her stories again of the “The Brothers and Sisters”. The last time we were there she had us in stitches. We laughed so hard!!! “That is the best – to laugh with someone because you both think the same things are funny.”-(Gloria Vanderbilt). Maybe a story was the same as before, but she always had a way to tell it differently. Our love for Aunt Pat blossomed over the past 23 years with our absence behind us. We wanted to visit more and more as time went along and we loved taking her out to lunch or dinner. Cathy, Scott, and Mark we send our sincere condolences. My last visit with her was truly memorable. However, somewhere between 1947 and 2014,…. I blinked.

Cathy, Scott, Mark and families,
I have such fond memories of your mom. Special memories of 15 South Strevell with Grandma Gertrude and Aunt Hazel and all our family, and fun times at the ranch with all of you. More recently, the girls and I had so much fun staying at your mom’s house while they attended Irish dance camp. We had great visits and the girls call her Grandma Pat now because of that time spent. Her zest for life always impressed me. What a wonderful lady. We are all blessed for having known her. Hugs to you all.

Yes, Aunt Pat was the best! She took us in when we were in Helena to get Justin. She (& you all) is/are truly family and made us feel so welcome! When I worked in Boulder, I stopped a few times to visit your folks (when your mom was not golfing :)). Great people. Love you all. Lots of memories!!!

Cathy, Scott and Mark and all the extended family, What a wonderful telephone visit your Mom and I had not long ago, laughing and reminiscing about all the antics of our children and revisiting some of the more serious pranks! Lots of memories of running back and forth across the alley, playing golf together, going to garage sales, and hoping you kids had successful digs for old bottles! You all were great to have for neighbors! I am sorry that I can’t be there for her service, but I will be thinking of all of you with love and also remembering my friend, Pat, with love. Bettie

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I knew her through Cathy; and Pat was our Girl Scout leader all through our high school years. What a gem. She left a wonderful part of herself with all of us and we are so lucky for that. She will be missed – until we meet again. Love and blessings to you Cathy and all your family. Leslie

So sorry to hear of PATS passing. We will & still talk of the memories we had with your Mom & DAD on the many motorcycle trips together. Your Mom was a good trooper even when Norm drove too fast. We won’t be at service, since we are still in Ariz. But our Love and Prayers to all your family.
