God called Paul Gordon Justice home April 12, 2023 surrounded by family. Paul was born in Oak Park, Illinois on Feb. 3, 1937. He served 4 years in the Marine Corp during the Korean conflict. Paul married Leona B. Wynkoop in Douglas, AZ on April 6, 1955, they just celebrated their 68th year of marriage. Paul received his master’s degree from Northern Montana and spent 30 years teaching machine shop and 5 years as an Underwriters Laboratories inspector. Paul was a member of the Gideons. Paul was honored to speak to Congress in Washington D.C. advocating vocational education. Paul was a strong Christian who loved reading his Bible and teaching Sunday School, a gift that many appreciated and grew from. Paul was an avid outdoorsman, from Lincoln to the Elkhorns, hunting deer, grouse, camping and fishing. He excelled in woodworking and loved to do projects, building homes and hundreds of decks, sheds and porches for friends, often for free. Paul loved Jesus Christ his Lord, his family, his many friends. Paul adored and was proud of his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Paul was a giver and was happiest when helping a friend or family member. Paul’s humor, kindness and love is already greatly missed. We are comforted knowing Jesus has healed and restored Paul in heaven. Paul and Leona are survived by Vince (Lisa) Justice, Renae Justice, and Relinda (Vince) Lindgren: his grandchildren Kyra (Dan) Vanisko, Andrew (Danielle) Deadmond, Courtney (Steve) Alaniz, Nicholas Lindgren and Anna (Everett) Casey. His great grandkids are Charlotte, Sampson and Cooper Vanisko; Ayliana and Kaylee Deadmond; Lakin, Jasper, Ever, and Hart Alaniz. Paul & I became friends in high school in Bisbee, Az. I stood by his side as best man at his & Leona’s wedding in April,1955. After his wedding, we lost track of each other. Fast foreward 55 years, we got together for lunch in Boise, Id. Since then we have been calling each other for our birthdays- mine is just 16 days after his- also in 1937. My only wish is that we could have had more of those “lost years” together. I never forgot him or stop wishing the very best for him. What a steadfast friend he was when I needed him. He will be missed by countless people.
All the best to his family whom he left behind.
Love to all.

Leona, Vince, Renae and Relinda, and your extended family members;
We are sorry to read that Paul had passed. We became well acquainted when we lived next to each other on South Rodney. After we built our home west of Helena (off Rimini Rd), Paul and Leona built just up the road from us. Every so often after that, we would run into one another in the store, OR get updates from Vince around hunting season time. Paul will be remembered quite often by many who crossed paths with him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Paige & Don Hiebert says
Vince and family, it was wonderful how you and your brother were with him and sang hymns to him until he passed into his new home with Jesus. So sorry for your loss, but comforted by his gain. “But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.” (1 Corthinthans 2:9)
Blessings,
Paige & Don Hiebert

I just attended the wonder service for my uncle Paul via streaming. Isn’t life something! Uncle Paul was at one time my Sunday school teacher, I remember him asking all of us to memorize what I now know was his favorite bible verse. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart…….. there is no doubt that Paul is in heaven. I know he had other family other than the Wynkoop’s, but you probably haven’t gotten to see any of them because of all the Wynkoop hugs! Love to your family! AJ Wynkoop’s daughter, Teena Schaefer

Paul lived a long, full life honoring God, his family and his country. He was an excellent student and teacher of the Bible, and his love for God showed in his quiet devotion to those in his family and his circle of friends. No doubt he instilled Godly values in the lives of the many students he influenced in his years of teaching. He and Leona are a great couple; 68 years of marriage, awesome! Blessings to the family.
