Paul Leonard Trevithick, 58, of Ham Lake, MN returned to his heavenly home on October 1, 2014 following a sudden illness.
Paul was born on May 5, 1956 in Great Falls, MT. He chose to live for God as a child and continued faithfully until his passing. On January 20, 1978, Paul married Melody Kay Newhouse. Together, they raised three children in MT, CO, and ID. They then relocated to MN where they resided until his passing.
Paul was a mechanic for many years. He then achieved his master’s degree in electrical engineering and most recently worked in the medical industry until his passing. He was an excellent problem-solver who enjoyed the challenge of difficult projects at work and around the home. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife, Melody; his children, Amanda, Sedric (and Shar), and Damon, his beloved grandchildren: Levi, Emily, Merryn, and Corbin; his parents, James and Alice; his siblings, Marie (and Dale), Anita, Mary (and Paul), Joyce, Ken (and Beke), and Lola; nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a multitude of friends. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A viewing will start at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Gateway Center, 1710 National Ave. with a Funeral Service to follow the viewing at 10:30 a.m. at the Gateway Center. Dear Melody, Amanda, Sedric, Damon, James & Alice, Marie, Anita, Mary, Joyce, Ken, Lola, and families,
Words are inadequate to truly express our deep care for you in the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, and uncle Paul. We have so many special memories of him and of all of you and our many precious times together in fellowship and friendship. We are so thankful that you have the wonderful comfort of knowing he was living for eternal things. We are very sorry we cannot be with you in person to give each of you a hug. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are surely with you.
With loving care, Bob & Marilyn
Jim & Linda Shelby says
Dear Melody & family, Lloyd & Ann sent word of Paul’s passing and was a jolt to us too. Our hearts go out to you as both of us have been through the same experience and some questions and many feelings will come but looking back we see at least some of the reasons in our cases and that will also be your experience as time carries us through new experiences to revelations of God’s time. He never misses and all for the good of His children in the extension of His kingdom which is our joy and satisfaction. PRECIOUS! We’re pulling for you for better days ahead. With our love, Jim & Linda Shelby

The Kindred Family says
Sending you and your family our continued heartfelt sympathy for your loss of Paul. With each new day may God (Ps.34:18) give his loving support as you try to cope. Paul touched the lives of others and will be sadly missed.
