Dear Karen, Bob, and all the Laphams,
I’m sorry to hear of Pete’s passing. It feels like the end of an era, Pete having been a one-of-a-kind philosopher who was never too busy to spin a great yarn. He and I had the most amazing conversations. I will never forget him!
Your entire family is in my thoughts, and I’m sending you my best energy along with a big bear hug. Sorry I cannot make it to the memorial service on Saturday, but I will be there in spirit.
Now Pete can join Jean and other loved ones, out there among the shooting stars.
