Dear Baker Family,,
I just recently learned of Ralph’s death and wish to send you my deepest sympathy for your loss. Ralph was elected President of the Helena Trail Riders Saddle Club in 1989. I had served as his Secretary/Treasurer during that year. It was a very special time as we were celebrating Helena Trail Riders 50th Anniversary as well as the State of Montana Centennial Statehood year, so we had a Grand Celebration at the clubhouse.
Ralph was such a fine, gentle man – I truly enjoyed working with him and wish he would have stayed involved in the club through the years. We have hung portraits of all of the Helena Trail Riders Past Presidents in collages on our wall, so he will always be remembered by all of us “Old Timers”. I believe he moved to Florida shortly after 1989. I wish we had his new address and sent him our “Pony Tales” newsletter that is published every month.
I do want to thank you for listing the Helena Trail Riders for memorials to Ralph and tell you that we have received a nice memorial from Elizabeth Baker. Again, may I express my deepest sympathy to all of Ralph’s Family.
