Bridger Veterinary Hospital says
Dear Jody,
We want you to know that we are thinking of you. You and Teach were some of our first clients and soon you became friends. We always enjoyed hearing his stories of the past and present rides and capers. All of us are going to miss his sense of humor and his kindness.
You are in our Prayers,
All your friends at Bridger Vet

Jodi,
Our hearts are broken for your loss. Teach was not only your husband, he was your heart and soul. We’re so happy he wrote his memoirs for generations to know him as we did. His spirit and love for life will stay with you forever as you continue to live on and love the land he introduced to you many years ago. We love you and wish you peace.
Your Brother,
David and Chris
Adrienne Bond says
Dear Jodi, I am so very sorry for your loss. Teach’s Sister Jan is my Godmother who I call my Aunt. Teach and Johnny were my hero’s when I was a little girl in the 70’s. They would ride their bikes into Tucson and one or the other would scoop me up and take me for a ride! My love for bikes started with Teach! He was a wonderful man and I hope to ride with him in Valhalla one day. Take care of yourself and if you ever need anything, we are just down in Three Forks. Love, Adrienne and family

Nanette Hicks says
Jodi, we were saddened when we heard about Teach. Our son Nate thought the world of him. Nate would always come home so happy when he went to visit the two of you. We only met Teach once at our home but we could tell what a great man he was by the way the “brothers” surrounded him. They will and always hold him high and special in their hearts. We’re praying for your peace. Hugs and prayers to you.

John Groo says
Dear Jodi,
I was devastated to learn of Teach’s passing. There is a big hole in my world now, as I am sure there is in yours.
I met Teach in 1973, when I was 22 years old. I was in awe of him then, and though we went on to do many things together as friends the awe remained, and even grew. We hadn’t seen or talked to each other much in recent years, but he was a friend for life who will always be in my heart. I’m an old guy now, but the awe is still there. I will never forget him. Thank you for being the partner he deserved.

Jan Richardson says
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of the man I knew as Teach. Many years ago, in West Yellowstone, I came to know Teach through the Loopers, Doug and Judy. Their daughter Brenda was my best friend. If I recall the story correctly, Brenda Looper told me Teach was actually her teacher in school back in California, thus his name. He was unforgettable and I had dreams of owning a motorcycle, joining a club and living a life of freedom on the road after I met him. He knew my stepfather, Jack Tremaine. My mother Marcia Gray, always spoke of him fondly over the years. My sincere sympathy at your loss, I will remember him always.
Jan Richardson, Helena

Jodi and all the Barons, I woke this morning after a dream of Teach. It was a memory of moving into the new clubhouse and preparing for a river run with Sam. A good dream, and it took me back to a very important man and a spectacular way of life. May you all have dreams and memories while making new ones. My admiration and love enclosed. Kate
