Raymond “Ernie” Ernest Smith, 76 of Helena, passed away on February 25th, 2012 at his home. He was born to Earnest A. and Lucille D. Smith on February 14th, 1936 in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
He earned his GED and went to work as a Radio Announcer at KMTX.
Among his favorite hobbies were fishing and pool leagues.
He is survived by his brother, Leslie J. Smith of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and sisters, Merilyn O. McLean of Helena and Eleanor A. Posch of Burnsville, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne C. Smith.
A social gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6th in the Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home social hall, 3750 N. Montana Ave. Condolences may be sent to the family be visiting: www.aswfuneralhome.com
