Ric Allen Fehr, 62, died at his home in Helena Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
He was the only son of Melvin and Juanita Fehr, and was born in Sacramento, Calif., October 27, 1948. He was married for 37 years to Kathy (Butler) Fehr. Ric worked for the State of Montana and retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield. His hobbies were many and varied, and included woodworking, gold panning, and all of his many little gadgets. Ric will be remembered and loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; five sons: Ric Allen Fehr, Jr. of Sparks, Nev.; Wesley L. Fehr of Boise; Anthony L. Butler Fehr of Hartford, Conn.; Jacob D. Fehr of Atlanta, Georgia; and Matthew H. D. Fehr, currently serving in Iraq. He is also survived by a large extended family, including his 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

How very sorry I was to see in todays IR that you lost Ric. We worked together in the Secretary of State’s Office and he was always a wonderful co-worker and such a gentleman.
