Rich was an real great neighbor on Highland Street. Even though he was grumpy sometimes, he still gave me a ride to High school a long time ago. He always looked after my mom’s house & cat when she was hospitalized or when she took her little trips. Rich will will be missed in the neighborhood and he truly was a real great guy.

I worked with Rich at DOR for many years. He was a mentor & more importantly a friend. I am sadden by his passing.
Margaret MacLean Coffey says
I only found out that my cousin Richard had passed away when mail that I sent to him was returned marked ‘deceased’. Sad news. If Richard daughters and/ or former wife would like to get in touch with our family, we would love to hear from them. My mother Isabel and Richard’s mother Freda were sisters. Sincerest condolences, Cousin Maggie
Elaine MacRae says
It makes me feel sad to hear this news (new to me).
My father, Douglas and Richard’s mother, Freda, were sister and brother and grew up on a farm in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. Richard and his family visited when he was a young boy; I have seen pictures of him and John with my brothers from those days.
What a handsome man he was and from what I read above, a very good man.
It would be nice to hear from his girls and/or his wife.
Thinking of you, Elaine
