Richard W. Radcliffe, 52, of Helena, MT, passed away in the peace of his home on Friday, December 11th, 2020 from a traumatic brain injury.
He was born in Great Falls, MT, March 3rd, 1968. Richard graduated from Capital High School, 1986. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard August 24th, 1986. In the Coast Guard, he was trained on chemical, biological and radiological defense as a shipboard firefighter as well as he served as a damage control petty officer. He served with numerous special operations in the Gulf War, Haitian refugee crisis, and conducted law enforcement operations with joint interagency task forces in the Caribbean Sea. Richard received six (6) service awards SFA Service Ribbon, Special Operation Ribbon, Coast Guard Unit Bicentennial Commendation Unit Ribbon, National Defense Ribbon, and Good Conduct Medal. After an honorable discharge, he then worked for Fort Harrison VA Medical Center for 18 years.
Richard enjoyed traveling with his family and camping adventures. He served as a volunteer firefighter with his father and brothers in the Wolf Creek community.
He is survived by his wife, Bonni Radcliffe; father, Robert Radcliffe; brothers, Robert Radcliffe and Ray Radcliffe; daughter, Becky Ackers; granddaughter, Kenzlei Ackers; and step-daughter, Sarah Kirby

A memorial service will be held at Capital Baptist Fellowship at 1pm on Friday, January 8th, 2021. We will gather to honor the deceased, a funeral service with military honors will be held at 2:30pm in the Fort Harrison Cemetery.
