Rita R. Eaton, age 79, of Helena

Rita Renata Eaton passed away with her closest friends by her side, after a two year battle with cancer, on Friday, May 12^th, 2017. Rita was born on June 1^st, 1937 in Breslau, Germany. Growing up in occupied Germany during WW11 posed a number of setbacks and hardships. Rita decided to move to America in 1969. She moved to Montana and resided in Helena for almost 50 years.

Rita was an elegant, and humble woman, her hobbies included taking extreme care of her beloved cats and gardening. She especially looked forward to meeting with her close group of friends dubbed the “Kaffee Klatsch”. She will be sorely missed by her family, close friends and lovely neighbors.

Rita is survived by her son; Wolfgang (Uschi) Grabsch, sister; Helga (Gerd) and grandson; Martin Grabsch. Please see below to offer a condolence to the family or to share a memory of Rita.
