Jean stayed active in the community as a member of Castle Mountain Red Hats, O.D.O. and Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron and other various positions. Jean enjoyed many crafts from sewing, crocheting, knitting and punch embroidery. She loved working jigsaw puzzles and always had a book in her hand. Jean and Jim were fortunate to take many trips; camping and traveling to sporting events across Montana, visiting family in California and Oregon, a trip to the Bad Lands of South Dakota, and trips to Kansas, Nevada, Idaho and Indiana to spend time with children and grandchildren. Marisu, Rick, and Robin,
I’m very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I could not begin to put here all of the memories I have of working for her and with her at newlin Creek club. We had some wonderful times. My thoughts are with you all at this time. Unless things change I will be out of state the day of Jean’s services but my thoughts will be with you and I wish I could be there.
