Ronald Lee Christiansen, age 56, of Helena, MT passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. A Funeral Service is being held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home at Noon with Public Visitation the hour prior. Following the service, the family will process to the Montana State Veteran Cemetery for a brief Graveside Service with Military Honors. Following his burial, the family asks that everyone join back at the funeral home for the reception.
Ron was born on November 28, 1964 in Great Falls, MT to parents Herman Louis Christiansen and Charlotte Lorraine Huff. Following high school, Ron enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly service as a Motor Transport Operator. After an honorable discharge, Ron returned to Montana and made a home for himself in Helena as a skilled maintenance man. During this time he met Mariana Calonge who he married on September 8, of 2001.
Ron had a heart of gold. He always greeted you with a big hug and a smile. If you needed help he always made himself available. In in spare time he loved going hunting and fishing. On his birthdays, he never wanted cake; instead, he always requested his favorite dessert, cherry pie.
Ron was a jokester and loved to have fun. Whenever you tried to take his picture he always made it challenging; putting up bunny ears, make a funny face, or just covering his entire face.
Ron was preceded in passing by his brother, Charles Christiansen. He is survived by his wife, Mariana Calonge; parents, Herman and Charlotte Christiansen; brothers, Gary, Thomas, and Randy Christiansen; and sisters, Cheryl Tompt and Christine Scrimsher.

Hi my name was Deb Christiansen I am Ron’s first cousin why am I just learning now that my cousin passed. I have been trying to contact Ron-after not being allowed to see him because I was adopted and his mom told me that she forbid contact because all I wanted was to sleep with her son. Sorry charlotte in your time of sadness but you really have destroyed a lot of peoples lives. Just because I was adopted was that supposed to different . I oh but wait last time I talked to you you told me that there were some jealousy issues because you had a daughter and my parents adopted me. My parents were not jealous you are.. you got upset with me because I do happen to have an education and treated me like shit. I’m sorry that you are a low grade idiot . I truly am but I am educated and so is my daughter she has a masters degree working towards her law stuff. Not sure why you would think a child was flirting with your kids but at the age I was that is what you did.
