With much sadness we say goodbye to Roseanna T. Williams. Roseanna passed away August 19, 2011, at the Elkhorn Health and Rehab Center, in Clancy, at the age of 85.
Roseanna was born in Helena on Christmas Day 1925 to Peter and Anna (Debelka) Talseth. She attended grade school at Harmony and Bryant schools, graduating from Helena High in 1944. Rose worked as a bookkeeper, at the VA hospital, and as a keypuncher, retiring from both Federal and State agencies.
Rose met Ralph W. Williams at the roller rink in Helena. They were married in 1961 in Salmon, Idaho. They spent their life together until his death in February 2009. Ralph and Rose spent many hours creek fishing. Their first date was a fishing trip up Lincoln. After retirement they were often seen sharing coffee with friends and family at different establishments in Helena.
She enjoyed sewing and embroidery, working in her yard, and bowling. She loved playing the piano and organ. She often played at dances in the earlier days. In the later years you might catch her playing the keno machines in her spare time.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Anna Talseth, her husband Ralph W. Williams, and her sister Mary (Betty) Jakovac.
Rose is survived by her brothers, Frank and Donald Talseth, 11 nieces and nephews, Karen Talseth Schultz, Larry Talseth, Janet Talseth Pallister, Jerry Jakovac, Judy Jakovac Mook, Sarah Jakovac Biggs, Linda Talseth Miller, Debbie Talseth Egermier, Connie Talseth Riha, Jody Talseth Lueck, and Tim Talseth.

Dear Family…Lois called and told me of Roseanne’s passing. I’m so delighted I talked with her on the phone months back and got to see satellite photos of the old house. I grieve with all of you at her loss. So many wonderful memories in my heart of having you all in my life. Your Gramma Anna and Aunty Rose provided me with the strong ethic of my whole life. I hope some of you will write. Bless you with health and gentle days.

We are very blessed to have Rosie in our lives for this short while. Mom & Roseie made life very exciting at Alhambra. We had so many laughs together. I loved Rosies jokes. Mom and Rosie were kindred spirits for sure. We shall surely miss her.
