Scott Ray Andrus, age 65, passed away suddenly on December 9, 2022 in his home.
Scott, was a great man, so full of life and laughter. He is survived by his wife Myrna Andrus; Sisters Karen Codiga and Connie Brundage; his Brother Stan Andrus and his wife Tammy Andrus; and 2 Nephews
Scott graduated from Tahoma High School in Maple Valley, Washington. Scott served his country immediately after graduation and was a very Proud USA Army Veteran in the Infantry Division. His Army nickname was Ammo. It was not unusual to hear his friends greet him by “Hey Ammo!”
Scott and Myrna were married in Couer d’ Alene, Idaho. His surviving children are: Daughters Kasey Johnson, and Danielle Rider and Nicole Steele, and sons Daniel Arnesen and Travis Frasier. We have 2 Grandsons, Tanner and Kasen Frasier; and a Granddaughter, Micala Brooks.
Scott held many positions throughout his life, including being a Certified Diesel Mechanic, but retired from the City of Renton in 2011 as a Building Inspector. His passion was restoring muscle cars/trucks and then driving them hard before selling and starting on another muscle car/truck or project.
We are quite certain that Scott, his deceased Brother Steve Andrus, and deceased Brother-in-law, Richard Schmitt are all building great things together in heaven. Scott was a beautiful soul who has touched all of our hearts and now shares a special place in the hearts of the many he left behind. I am sure he’s challenging the angels with his intelligence and his delightfully wicked humor. We are all blessed to have shared precious time making wonderful memories with Scott and enjoying many fabulous adventures together.
Husband, you didn’t prepare me for a life without you!! My heart is broken into a million tiny pieces. You are no longer of this world, you inhabit a place of no return, no matter the tears or how much I yearn. God called you home to be with him. Every time you cross my mind, I see the gifts you have given me, Our Family, Our Home, and Security but most of all Love. Remember that no matter what life throws at you, you have a love like no other; in death it continues to grow. For now, I must be patient and one day our time will come again and you will be there to take my hand and safely guide me home. We will all remember your laugh and how much you loved life. Scott you are Loved Immensely and will be Greatly Missed, but Never Forgotten. Rest in Peace.

Scott was a great man. I wonderful co-worker that was always ready to help. I recall his round tub of red licorice at his workplace desk and how he would enjoy them. He always had a joke to make you laugh.
He was a truly good person that will be missed.
