Sharon L. Harrington, 71 of East Helena passed away June 5, 2013 at Elkhorn Health and Rehab Center in Clancy.
Sharon was the fourth child of Harry S. and Olivia A. Wiley born August 6, 1941 in Jamestown, ND. She graduated from Harlem High School in 1959. Sharon married Leo Harrington on January 7, 1967 in Chester Mt. In December of that year their son Patrick was born and in July of 1969 they had their daughter Julie.
Sharon worked as a janitor and bus driver for the Mandan Public Schools until they moved to Libby in 1981. Sharon became a C.N.A. in 1989 and continued in that profession until her retirement. In 1999 Sharon moved to East Helena and in 2004 she became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Townsend.
Sharon loved to garden and took pride in her roses, she also liked to crochet and cross stitch. She crocheted beautiful dolls, afghans, and cross stitched pillow cases.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Leo in 1997 and her son, Patrick in 2007. Her parents Harry, Olivia, her brother Harry T. Wiley, and twin sister Charlene Doney.
She is survived by her sister, Donna Pfaff of Bismarck; daughter, Julie Theonnes (Tim) of Helena; granddaughters, Camilla Theonnes of Butte, Brenda Theonnes of Helena and two grandsons, Shawn and Cody Harrington; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for family will be at Retz Funeral Home 315 E. 6th Ave, Helena from 1:30-2:30 P.M., Monday June 10, 2013, with graveside services to follow at the City of East Helena Cemetery at 3:00 with Pastor Casey Higgins officiating. A potluck will follow the graveside service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2410 Beltview Dr. in Helena. To offer a condolence or share a memory of Sharon, please visit below.
