I keep remembering all the fun we had growing up on those farms, I’m sure we made a path back and forth from one place to the other. Now you have traveled the same path our loved ones who have gone on before and I’m sure it is a well worn path. God be with on this trip. May He comfort those of us left behind. I feel you all are having a big celebration up there!!!!

Aunti Shirley u will be missed by myself, Dezerae, and Timoteo. Even though Timo only knew u for a short time, you had a big impact on him. I thank the good Lord for us being able to attend your 80th Birthday party. Even after we came back home Timo would ask almost daily how his Aunti Shirley was doing. He cried so hard when I told him the news of your passing. We are all so sad that we wont be able to see your smiling face at family gatherings any longer, but at least we have our great memories of you. Im glad you were at peace and ready to join our creator, and family that I’m sure was waiting at the gates of heaven to welcome you. We dont like to lose our loved ones, but for me it really made it easier to say goodbye because you were at peace. And as I told my mom, the life you led probably wasn’t the easiest. And u maybe didnt really have much control of your life story at times. But u were able to make the final decisions, and write the ending to your book of life. We love you and will certainly miss you, it was time for us to close your book for now but your story will still continue as we share it with generations to come.

My wonderful sister, I will miss you so. I probably will still pick up the phone to call you at times but, you have taught me so many of your cooking and baking skills . I may not be quite as good as you were but, I will share with your two boys. I love you so and am comforted that you are with so many loved ones. I was in such awe of you at the hospital, how YOU comforted all of us! You taught me not to be afraid of death. I know you have those golden wings I said you would have! Rest in peace my dear Shirley

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Shirley, but happy she was able to make it to her 80th birthday celebration. I wish I could have come for her big day, but glad that Mike was
able to go and give her our love. I loved seeing the pics of her and her siblings and her beautiful smile. She was so happy to have so much of her family there with her to celebrate her big day. A few days after her birthday she called me to offer thanks for her card and just say hello. I was so happy I got the chance to speak with her. I always enjoyed the times she came out to Washington to spend with Betty. She was always so happy when she was here and our family got to know her better and spend time with her. I will miss those visits. I am so glad that she got to say goodbye to so many of her family, and I understand she was smiling and making jokes up until the end. Shirley was one of a kind and I will truly miss her. I know she is at peace and enjoying the company of family that went before her. Rest in peace.
    All our love,
    Char & Mike
