Donna, Danny, Jamie, girls and the rest of the family – please know that our family is thinking of you during this very sad time. That being said please also know that Ed and I are so happy that this sweet angel can spread his wings and fly and open the locks to the gates of heaven! He always had a special grin, a smile as big as Texas and a joke to make me laugh. Just love this beautiful man and how much he loved all of you!!! I will miss his laugh and giant smile:(

Sonny was part of our early years as a family as Dan and Julia received the best child care in “the blue house”. Sonny was a positive, upbeat and gentle soul who loved children❤️ A good man! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Donna and family.

Donna and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. There are very few people in the world today that each and every time you see them, they make your day brighter. Sonny was at the top of that list. I will always remember his witty humor, and willingness to help anyone that he came in contact with. I worked alongside him for a couple of years at Burdick’s, and I was always amazed that no matter what kind of lock would come in the door.. Sonny knew exactly how it came apart and could get it in working order in no time. I will also remember him grossing us out at the shop by opening up the fresh sauerkraut from the Hutterites.. and eating it with a spoon, while chuckling the whole time. He was a wonderful man, with a big heart, and he will truly be missed by anyone that had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
