Steve Reilly passed away in Helena on October 1, 2025. He was born on June 4, 1955, in Dillon, Montana to Seth and Lois (Sally) Reilly.

Steve spent his retirement years wintering in Arizona and summers in his beloved Montana. He was a man who loved animals and always had a dog that was his best friend. He even, at one time, had a porcupine as a pet. He was the quintessential miner and enjoyed talking about and exploring mining and minerals with like-minded individuals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents (Al and Rachel Reilly) as well as his brother Jimmy. He is survived by his brother Scott (Mary) Reilly and stepmother, Marjorie Reilly.

A graveside memorial service will be held at the Jefferson City Cemetery at a later date.
