Talia Batista Frank, 74
Talia was born in Glendale, California on January 8th, 1948, and passed away after a long battle with assorted health issues on March 8th, 2022, in Helena, Montana.
At her request, there will be no memorial service. The family will gather this summer for a celebration of her life. If you would like to share a favorite memory of her, please send it to the address below and we’ll include it in a presentation.
Condolences may be sent to 1816 Peosta Ave., Helena, MT 59601. She requested that any donations be made in her memory to the Lewis & Clark Humane Society in Helena.
Talia graduated from Carlsbad High School in California in 1966 and continued her education at Mira Costa College and a business school.
Various jobs included being a Head Chef at the Golden Cache Restaurant, where her cooking talents were showcased. She also spent 30 years as an office manager in retail, earning the respect of many people.
Accomplishments included being an Honored Queen of Job’s Daughters, moving up through the ranks in Girl Scouts and winning a national oratory contest. She spent years with home extensions and as a Cub Scout den mother.
Hobbies included cake decorating, photography, drawing, gardening, cooking, and baking.
David Frank, her husband of 52 years, said her favorite hobby was raising him!
Talia is preceded in death by her grandparents and parents, a son, Jason and a daughter, Megan. The list also includes numerous beloved pets.
She is survived by family members, David (husband), John Batista (brother) and Lynn Batista (sister) and her new brother-in-law, Spencer Pynn. She also leaves behind her son, Christopher, his wife, Jacki and granddaughters, Corey, and Emma. There are also several special daughters, Layla, Kristy, and Cheyenne.

So sorry for your loss. Talia was head of HR at Kmart and saw my potential and promoted me to the Cash Cage position at a time I needed to move on from the Appliance Dept. She was always warm and friendly. Just a wonderful and thoughful lady. I never saw her without a smile on her face.
