I was so sad and shocked by Tammy’s passing. We were close years ago and haven’t seen for several years now. I have such good memories of her. We actually bowled on a summer league together, fun times. I’m so sorry I didn’t stay in touch. She was a beautiful person with a heart of gold. My heart is breaking. My thoughts and prayers for her family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Tammy’s passing. I knew her for many years with DPHHS. I always enjoyed visiting with her at meetings. She would always bring a new photo of her son for me to see or would e-mail me something cute he did. Tammy was one of the good guys. She will be greatly missed. I don’t ever think Tammy had an unkind word for anyone. Rest in Peace Dear Tammy and may God help your family through this difficult time. God Bless your wonderful son.

Tammy will forever be in my heart–she was always kind, caring, and concerned for those around her. She would always listen and make those she knew feel special, and she was so very proud of Connor! My prayers are with Lowell, Connor, Tammy’s folks, and all those who loved Tammy for the incredible woman she was. May your memories bring you comfort and peace.

Heaven has another angel in Tammy Poppe. I worked with her for many years at DPHHS. She was always kind and caring to everyone. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She loved her son immensely he was the apple of her eye. Tammy was a quiet person, but when she did speak in meetings everyone listened to what she had to say. She was brilliant and understood the long-range impact of public assistance programs. She always protected the integrity of the programs. She was a dear friend of mine and one of the good guys. I will miss her. Love you, Tammy!

Tammy will certainly be missed in many ways! I had the privilege of knowing Tammy while working at dphhs Open the county office in central office. Tammy was the essence of ” Love , patience , kindness and respect ” very very smart one who knew when to speak and when to stay quiet. The twinkle in her eyes when she would talk of Conner or other family activities demonstrated her True passions. Prayers for comfort and support to her family and friends who were closest to her. Tammy was and continues to be a blessing to many !
