In Memory Of

Taylor L. Wells, age 21, of Helena

Taylor Lee Wells, 21 passed away on Sunday September 17, 2017. He was an amazing son, grandson, nephew, friend and father.

Taylor was born May 1, 1996 to Darci Wells and Jeremy Morgan, in Helena, MT. He was raised in Helena, went to Broadwater Elementary and graduated from Capital High. He was excelling at Helena College, studying his love of diesel mechanics.

Taylor had a contagious smile and laugh that brightened any room at any given time. He brought joy and happiness to everyone he encountered no matter what walks they came from. He was a loyal friend, hardworking, kind hearted, and stubborn. There are no amount of words that can describe Taylor, and anyone who knew him well enough knew that. The amount of love he had in his heart, had a lot to do with who raised him. He made sure to make it known that it was because of his momma and family. Taylor would drop anything just to go help someone he barely knew. Taylor’s buds talked about how his trucks were always his first priority. He loved his trucks more than anything, but with love came a lot of time fixing them because more than likely, they always broke them, tore them apart or bought a beat up truck to fix. Taylor had pure passion for anything and everything he put himself into.

He was preceded in death by his father Jeremy Morgan, grandparents Mike Wells, Rosemary Morgan, and Carl Engstedt.

Taylor is survived by his parents Corey and Darci Crum; sister Courtney; daughter, Cassie Till and Cassie’s mom Kayla Till. Grandparents: Mary and Gary Mann, of Helena; Marie Engstedt, of Helena; Alton and Penny Crum, of Helena; and Clark and Joan Matthews, Baltimore, MD. Aunts and Uncles: Todd and Mollie Plummer, (Mariah, McKenzie and Maycee) of Helena; Briget and Keith Thompson (Ashlynn, Jacee, and Sadie) of Colfax, Wa; Christina Engstedt (Talon, Tiana, Gabriella) of Helena; Eric Engstedt (Kennedy and Sienna) of Helena; Kelly and James Perkins (Makayla, Shyanne, Lexi) of Vernal, UT.

A service celebrating Taylor’s life will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23rd at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave.  A reception will follow the service in the social hall of the funeral home. Flowers, gifts, or other items please drop off at Anderson Stevenson Wilke funeral home or give to Mollie Plummer, Darci’s sister, for the family to take home with them Saturday morning.

I remember hearing your silly little laugh just like it was yesterday. I miss you so damn much already. You gave me hope when I thought my world was gonna crash. You were the most beautiful soul I’ve ever met. I never seemed to be sad around you. You walked into a room and you were like the light. You had the best smile and best hugs. You were my best friend at one point. Yes we drifted apart. But to this day. I can still hear your voice saying “ohhh it’ll buff” I loved you so damn much tay and I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of your life. Now I have one of the best angels watching over me! I still remember when it took us 5 hours to get out of the mountains because your stuck was messed up and you finally made me drive lol. I love you Tatertot. Don’t ever forget how loved you were and are ❤️

    Darci –
Your uncle Jim and I share your sorrow at Taylor’s passing. You played a large part in the man he had become and you should be proud to have raised such a fine young man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family – we take comfort, and hope you do too, in knowing he is now with his Grandpa Mike. Uncle Jim says there will be some adventures there, for sure!
