Teagan N. McLure passed away in East Helena, Montana on April 28, 2020; he was 16 years old. Teagan was born in Great Falls, Montana on September 18, 2003 to Jonathan McLure and Tonja White.
Teagan was a sophomore at Helena High School. He was a great big brother who loved his cats and playing Xbox.
He is survived by his parents Johnathan and Tonja McLure; his brothers, Gavin and Grason and sisters, Jayden and Peyton.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy “Ducky” White and his grandfather, Patrick McLure.
A memorial service celebrating Teagan’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10th at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave. There will be a reception in the social hall of the funeral home immediately following the service.

When I first met him in elementary school there was a bunch of kids bullying me and Teagan saw me and he stepped up and stood up for me Teagan was an amazing boy and lots of people loved him. We didn’t talk as much the past year but he was still one of my closest friends your son was one of the most amazing boys I’ve ever met. I’m sorry for your loss. Teagan and I have the same name so in our classes I would have to be called something else because I wanted him to feel comfortable & not like he was being called on all the time. I didn’t want there to be much confusion. I always said hi to him because he seemed nice & well we have the same name. I hope people will honor him now that it’s suicide prevention month. He was a kind soul. I also hope everyone that was effected by his death is doing well. Stay strong.
