My most sincere condolences to Ted’s siblings and family members. He had a very rich story to tell. His loss is a great loss to all Aa Nii (Gros Ventre) members. He joins all of our relatives including his father and my mother, who were brother and sister.

So sorry to hear the passing of Ted and my condolences to the family. Ted was a great man and a great neighbor and I loved listening to his stories. He loved to tell jokes with myself and the kids as we visited out on the porch. Ted always had an interest in what the kids were up to and how they were doing. He will be greatly missed.

Just a few days ago I was listening to a couple CD’s we made some years ago at Doug Sternberg’s house it was great listening to Ted take some of the leads, and he sang and drummed with my grandson Dallas. Those are some precious memories no one can ever take from us.

    Dear family,
I read of the loss of your dear loved one. It sounds like he was a wonderful human being who lived a full life. He was “especially strong” to live to the age of 83. May you look forward to the time when you will once again be with your loved one in paradise. Continue to look to our Creator for comfort, peace and hope in the future.

    Dear Ted Walker family:

I am sorry to learn of Ted Walker’s passing. I met , him once back in the late summer of 1965, I believe, in Dillon, and he took our family up to visit one of the abandoned Hecla <Mine sites not far from Dillon.

I believe that Ted, along with Bob Hudson, just to guide my father and his friend, Dr. Housner, both from Wisconsin, hunting elk, on the Canyon Creek Ranch decades ago; would that have been possible? Would anyone one of Ted's family know about Ted guiding elk hunters?

Again, my condolences to the Walker family.

    Sincerely,

    Lance Myers, Belleville, WI
