Theresa Kindle, age 91, of Helena died December 22, 2011 at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was born to Mary and Michael Hudak, grew up in Stockett Mt and attended school in Centerville, Mt.
Her parents immigrated from Tokajik, Austria in the early 1900’s. They had 16 children, 12 who survived into adulthood. Theresa was preceded in death by all of her siblings (7 sisters and 4 brothers); husband James of 60 years and grandson Rob Kindle.
Theresa lived in Great Falls for many years and raised her family there. Her husband was a locomotive engineer for BNSF and they also lived in Whitefish and Glasgow. Helena had been her home later in life. She resided at Vista Square Apartments where she enjoyed her friends and neighbors there.
She is survived by her son Jim of Helena, daughter Barbara Baker of Whitefish; granddaughters Michelle (Scott) Marsh of Helena and Brittany Baker of Scottsdale, Arizona; and great grandsons Kyler, Dakota and Jacob of Helena.
She was a devout member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and considered the many parishioners her extended family. We wish to thank the Monday Morning Prayer Group and the other caring, compassionate and gracious people who gave in so many ways. Also thank you to the medical facilities and staff for truly outstanding care at Benefis Health Care of Great Falls, Cooney Nursing Home and St. Peter’s Hospital.
Theresa will be remembered as loving, committed and full of life!
