TRAVIS’ MEMORIAL SERICE LIVE STREAM
Travis John Robinson, age 37 passed away of natural causes at his home in West Seattle, WA on August 15, 2020.
Travis was born in Helena, MT and is the only son of Randal George Robinson and Judy Lynn Bovee. He attended grade school in East Helena and Helena High School.
As a youth Travis spent part of his summers in Miles City with his dad Randy, stepmom Rita and family. In the summer of 1997, on August 15, Travis was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City. After spending time in Miles City Travis would return home so he didn’t miss the annual Bovee family gathering of camping, fishing, and floating on the Madison River. He participated in T-Ball, was in Cub Scouts and played the saxophone in the marching band.
In 2004, he and a couple of friends moved to the Seattle, WA area where he followed in his mom’s footsteps and started his career in the food and beverage industry. He started as a server and worked his way up the ranks. In 2011 he started his career at Elliott Bay in Burien, WA. In 2014 he moved to West Seattle Elliott Bay, where, at the time of his death, he was Co-Manager. Recently, he was voted a member of the 2020-2023 West Seattle Junction Board of Directors and was active in community events.
He was an avid Dungeons and Dragons player, enjoyed hanging out with friends for a few drinks, and was a Seattle Seahawks fan. He took advantage of easy travel from Seattle by jetting to Las Vegas annually with sister Joleen and cousin Veronica. While in Las Vegas he relaxed at the Pia Gow Poker tables. In September 2018 Travis flew to Paris for a true vacation; he hoped to return there one day. Travis relished his alone time by journaling his thoughts, which were developing into a book he planned to publish one day.
Travis bonded with a group of colleagues from Elliott Bay who quickly grew into life-long friends. This “chosen family” included Audra, Luke, Emily, Joe and their families. He loved all his Elliott Bay family and often spent days off at his workplace. He was a very thoughtful and caring person who could be counted on to lend a hand or a tender and understanding shoulder to cry on. He will be remembered for his laugh and quick wit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Travis was preceded in death by his mother, Judy (Bovee) Siemers of Helena, his grandparents, Wayne and Mary Ann Robinson of Helena, William R. (Bob) and Dorothy Bovee of East Helena, and step grandmother Charlene Tittsworth of Miles City.
Travis is survived by his father Randy and stepmom Rita (Wolf) Robinson, of Miles City, sisters Jessica Kline and Joleen Kline of Helena, brother Bryce and wife Alexis Robinson of Billings, sister Randee Robinson of Billings, and step grandparents William (Bill) and wife Glennda Wolf of Miles City. Travis also has many extended family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Loved his kind heart and soft spoken caring personality. I remember him a a little boy, willing to play and visit with everyone. This world is a bit dimmer with the passing of his light.
Angela Jarvis says
I’ll always remember the fun times we had at grandma’s house building forts in the basement using couch cushions and walking down to the gas station to get a treat. Grandma’s house was always so much more fun when he was there.
