The world was made brighter in the early hours of July 2006, when Trey made his arrival. His birth was heralded by tears of pure joy and the laughter that he naturally inspired began. After losing his Mother when he was 3, Trey had a very turbulent childhood until early 2014 when he was placed under the guardianship of his Aunt and Uncle. Trey was formally adopted in late 2016, alongside his sister, and spent the next few years healing.
On October 30, 2022, at only 16 years old, Trey lost his life in a very unfortunate accident.
Trey was bold, adventurous, fearless, and very, very funny. Seriously funny, witty even, and from a very young age. He was a talented artist, and incredible at math. He was genuinely kind and had an innate understanding of people. This resulted in his ability to make many, many friends throughout his life, most long-term and all of them meaningful. Trey’s smile might be the first thing that people remember about him.
Trey loved music, especially his fave artist Mac Miller and possibly played every video game there ever was. He would get excited for new releases, and could easily spend hours playing with his friends. His favorite thing was to hang out. Trey loved to play hard and physical activity soothed his very busy brain.
Trey valued his family, and loved each of his siblings more than any words can express here. He was excited about the future, had just started talking about Oregon as a possible destination for his future and was still totally not sure what he wanted to do for a living.
Please join the family for a celebration of life in honor of Trey at from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10th at the Staggering Ox, 400 Euclid Avenue in Helena.
