For Verna, I have many fond, fun filled memories & adventures of Verna. We met in the 70’s when I attended Helena college and Verna was one of the leading instructors. Verna was absolutely a scholar in so many fields including DA Davidson Executive (sharp as a tac). Verna was a member of many organizations, she was the “Book Lady”, very stylish, always lookin good, and a wonderful contributor in so many fields, including politics. Those of us that were fortunate to call Verna “Friend” were truly Blessed. GoodBye My Friend Verna Rest In Peace…Evy

Many of Verna’s friends are anxiously awaiting her “write up” on Verna’s amazing life, plus a nice picture to go with it. Verna’s tragic loss of her son Stephen as a result of an avalanche in April 14, 2010 affected her greatly with torment & sadness. Her grandson’s Peter & Chad were always very special to her and loved by Verna. In the meantime, we will keep checking the paper and this site for a nice tribute to Verna. Verna’s write-up is coming — will be in four newspapers: Bozeman, Great Falls, Helena and Phoenix. Verna was a special lady and is missed.
