I am thinking of all of you in your loss. I met Ginny when she took a tour from Helena to Boulder. I was the historian on the tour that talked about the history of Jefferson County. We toured the courthouse and Ginny said that her grandfather was the janitor their for years and that they lived in the house on the grade school grounds and she had spent many hours with her grandparents and would come to the courthouse with “grampa”. I had also lived in that same house when I moved to Boulder in 1970. The house is still standing but has been moved. The day she was here we went and looked at the house. She had many memories of Boulder. and after that donated many pictures and items to The Heritage Center in Boulder. She let a good long life but will be missed by many. .

Mrs. Lane you will be greatly missed!
I have great memories of you as our Girl Scout leader, camping at Camp Thunderbird, baking cookies with you and Janet. It seems like I was at your home more than my own. You were there for me when I broke my arm and cracked my head open and took me to the Doctors office. I’ve looked up to you since second grade when Janet and I became friends. You meant a lot to me and I will be forever great full you were in my life.
Jim, Kathy and family & Dave and family I’m sorry for the loss of your Mom, mother in law, grandmother & great grandmother. May God bring you comfort and peace!

Jim and family — I remember your mother well. We both had great mothers who raised a bunch of kids on the East Side of Helena. I always felt very welcome in your home on Winne, next to the Coopers. I planned to attend the service on Sunday but will be in Missoula. Hope to see you soon. God bless Ginnie.
