On the early hours of December 15, 2024, Warren passed away in his home because of complications with cancer. Warren was 89 years old.
Warren was born in Reading, PA. on June 12, 1935. He was the 7th child of Paul F.E Krott and Mabel M. Krott (Barnett). Raised with 8 siblings he led a very adventurous childhood. He graduated from High School in Reading in 1954 and then served 3 years in the U.S. Army where he spent most of his time in Central America as a Helicopter Crew Chief. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army he moved to Helena, MT in which his Fiancé Sharon followed and were married Oct. 18, 1957. They had 3 children Jill Larson, Timothy Krott, and Neil Krott. Warren worked for the telephone company for 32 years before retiring at the age of 54. Warren and Sharon were married 42 years before Sharon’s passing.
In 2002 Warren met Patricia Antonick and they got married on December 21, 2002. Patricia had a ranch outside of Townsend, MT that they worked together before retiring in a nice cozy house in Townsend. Warren and Pat were married 16 years before her passing.
Warren always kept himself busy, whether in his younger years or his golden years. If he wasn’t remodeling or landscaping something, he would cozy up with a good book (western preferred) or find a puzzle to put together (he did close to a thousand). The biggest thing about Warren, was that he always helped or volunteered to help, his neighbor, a family member or even a time or two, a complete stranger that looked lost or were broke down. Some of his greatest and most talked about memories were about the many road trips he took with us all as a family across the United States to visit relatives in Pennsylvania or other destinations, always taking a different route. Later he continued to do the road trips with mom and later with Pat.
Warren was preceded in death by his Parents Paul and Mabel, brothers Paul F.W. Krott, Carl Krott, Donald Krott, sisters Delores Blessing, and Elaine Krott. Both of his wives, Sharon L. Krott (Quinter) and Patricia Krott (Crowley), Great Granddaughter Faith Bentley and one nephew Richard Krott.
Warren is survived by 2 brothers, Gerald Krott and Darlington Krott, 1 sister Gertrude Graul, Daughter Jill Larson (Duane), 2 sons Timothy Krott (Stephanie) and Neil Krott (Nicole), 9 Grandchildren: Tyrel (Stacy) Murfitt, April (Conrad) Bentley, Zachery (Kelly) Murfitt, Joshua Krott, Amanda Krott, Joshua(Amanda) Brown and Alexander(Samantha) Brown plus 13 Great Grandchildren.
No services will be conducted. Warren will be buried next to Sharon and Patrica at The Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Helena, MT

I met Warren in 1959 .We worked together in the coin collection unit for Mt. Bell. We became good family friends as our families grew and visited each often.
In later years our spouses passed away within months of each other, but Warren would call me each Christmas and I have remained in touch with his children.
I have many fond happy memories of our young families enjoying each other’s company. 🙏❤️
