Dear Pat, I am sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I truly hope you are well. I will never forget his laugh, intelligence or shared interest in gems.
He once told me “Well, I guess you aren’t a dummy.” Followed by his roaring giggle.
Many prayers and peace to you, and your family.

So very sorry for your loss Aunt Pat. Uncle Shamus was truly one of a kind and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Some of my earliest memories are of Uncle Shamus’s love for Hot Rod’s and sharing that passion with me. He and I enjoyed a special bond through the years that I will treasure for the rest of my life and I want you to know that our entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I can close my eyes and still hear him say, “Shamus my boy, how are ya!”

Pat, if you need me I’m here for you. My dearest Bill, I will miss learning everything I didn’t know that I didn’t know! I learned about stocks, how medications are made, how to properly make a bed, how to cook the food your sister sent you that I never heard of, I could go on and on. But Bill, you became more to me. You and Pat became family. I will never forget you. Fly on Angels wings my dear one.

Bill was a little older than I when we became friends at Tappan Junior High School, 1954 in Detroit…..He patiently taught me to play chess , then played it with me until I became almost as good as he was…..then off to Class Technical High School where Bill studied the sciences and I engineering….we last touch after high school but we’re reconnected by Bills sister Marie by phone…..he was a wonderful friend……we’ll catch up when Iits my time to cross over the bridge…..I’m looking forward to it…..
    Gratefully, Dennis
