Wilma passed away at St Peter’s Hospital in Helena on September 30, 2016, after suffering a heart attack. She was surrounded by friends and loved ones, and her passing was peaceful.
Wilma recently celebrated her 92nd birthday on September 21st at the Masonic Home in Helena, where she had been living for the past seven months.
Wilma was married to James Edward Burke many years ago. They spent most of their young married life in Butte, Montana, where she gave birth to their son, James Ronald Burke.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, several siblings and her only son, Ron. She is survived by her sister Carol (Virginia), numerous nieces & nephews, other extended family, as well as her beloved granddaughters: Ronni (Helena), Shileen (Seattle, WA), and Carrie (Seattle, WA).
