On February 6, 2014, Yvonne Patricia Cutler went peacefully home to the Lord after a courageous battle with COPD.
Pat, as she was known to family and friends, was a devoted wife to Marvin, a loving mother to Debbie (Doug) Kralicek and Monica Cutler and a wonderful grandmother to Jennifer Kralicek, Kimberly (Mike) Opie, Kevin Stewart and Meagan Stewart, as well as Jeff Shirley, who was like a grandson. She was also a great-grandmother to Cameron, Caeddyn, Kaylee, and Kason. Pat was a kind, caring and loving person who put the needs of others above her own, never wanting to ask for help.
She was passionate about cooking and baking for friends and family. Her potato salad was her trademark in family gatherings, especially to her son-in-law, Doug. In January 2013, Pat joined the Catholic Church where she gained strength and courage along her journey.
Pat was born February 23, 1936 to Buster and Mabel Felton and grew up in Chinook, Montana. In 1958 Pat moved to Helena where she worked for numerous surgeons until 1965 when she began employment with Montana Physicians’ Service. She held various management positions, including Vice President of Claims and Beneficiary Services. During her employment she successfully directed, in 1981, the first implementation of an automated claims processing system. Pat concluded her career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana in 1994 as Vice President of Internal Audit.
She met and married the love of her life, Marvin Cutler, at Frontier Town On May 13, 1962. After retirement, Marvin and Pat loved heading out in their motor home, whether to Arizona of Canyon Ferry.

I was so sorry to hear about Pat’s passing. I always enjoyed visiting with her and Marvin. They were great people, and I looked forward to seeing them. Pat made the best raspberry jam, and she was so generous to share it with my family. Thank you for calling, when I was off, to let me know about her passing. I would have liked to have made the funeral, but unfortunately I work Thursday afternoon. My family’s thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Pat. She was the lady that got my husband Willie and I together on a blind date back in the year of 1953. To the family
I was so very saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. I meet Pat and Marvin when they hired me to redesign the garden beds. As time went on we became friends. After Marvin’s passing I continued to care for the flower beds for Pat. A few times I cared for the beds at no charge to cheer Pat up. I enjoyed Pat as she was although very sad she was feisty. She was alway negotiating our We started playing cards a few times a month. It seemed to cheer her up and I did not care about the tremors. her eyes would light up as she shared about her family and grandkids.
Anna Demaree says
Well, seems she did not want me to share some of the business stuff. The system glitched. One last thing to share. I will miss her and appreciated the time she shared with me. She was loving and wise with life experiences. Although she did not intend to influence me, she did as any good friend would. much love to the family in these difficult times.

Debbie and Family-
Your Mother had the very best laugh and crinkley smile when she looked right at you. She brought compassion and fairness to the workplace everyday for our customers. She was a great mentor and very good person. She and Marvin are now together for all time. My thoughts and prayers are with you now.
Tom Smith says
Monica and Debbie,
Am so sorry to hear about Pat. Your family has a special place in my life and heart and I enjoyed growing up next door to your family. Your family has always been my favorite neighbors. I miss both Pat and Marvin. They are still the best gardeners I’ve ever known. Their warm hearts and smiles are sorely missed.
God bless you and your families,
Tom Smith
Monica Cutler says
Well it’s been a little over 2 months now since mom has passed away. She was my strength when when I was weak and my laughter when I was sad. Words cannot even describe how much I miss her. Mom and I would skype at least once a day to give each other the needed support. She missed my dad Marvin so very very much. I am glad that she had accepted Christ as her personal savior and now dwells in a better place with many family and friends.
The hard part for me now is not being able to share any of my good news with her. OH how she would light up when something great happened to me in my life. I miss the sound advise that she would give me. I miss her telling me how much she loved me…. I miss her precious smile. I miss hugging her and telling how wonderful she is. I miss her presence. She will always be in my heart and mind. Love and miss that wonderful woman!!!
