Mary Gail,Dale,Sharon and Hanson family, I’m so sorry about the loss of Allen.I enjoyed working with him when I was at Spring Meadow. It was nice when I’d see him out shopping. If Allen was with someone I didn’t know he always introduced me to them. I’ll miss his calls that I got.Sometimes his calls would be every week or then there would be times I wouldn’t hear from him for a couple of weeks. I found out about Allen’s passing from another person I wortwith at Spring Meadow. These ladies call me all the time. They wanted all of you know your in their hearts and prayers also. Crystal Crandall, Sonya Moderie, and Debbie Mahar.Allen and I would talk about old times and how he was doing up to his passing. I last talked to him last week and he was saying how he’s like to have one of those riding scooters for his self. I’ll miss you Allen now you will feel better, God Bless You. Prayers and thoughts are with you all. God Bless You All. Evelyn ( Evie ) Knowles

I am very sorry for your loss. I grew up with Allen and we had some good times as little kids – like running around outside the state capitol grounds in our pajamas at night (we were supposed to be in bed sleeping). My grandma always used to tell about the time when Allen lost his shoe in their basement while we were playing. I don’t think we ever found it. We had a lot of fun. Anyway, its sad to hear about his passing and I wanted to check in and offer my condolences.

I’ve known Allen for about 8 years. He used to stop at the little store where I worked and we’d visit. Back then he was healthy enough to ride his bicycle, and he worked at the Red Roof Cafe.
Over the years we have stayed in touch…seeing each other about once a month, and talking on the phone. He’d sometimes call and jokingly say “Lets go fishin”. I’d sometimes give him rides to do a bit of shopping. He often talked fondly of his folks, & family.
I last saw him just one day before his passing….but didn’t learn about it until today, a month later, when I stopped by to see him. I’m going to miss that feller…he had a genuine sincere, and loving heart. Sorry he never did get that elect. set of wheels he spoke of….but now he has wings…and can really get around.

I just found out Allen had passed away. I worked with Allen at the Prospect McDonald’s before they rebuilt the new one. I enjoyed working with Allen. He was kind, funny and a hard worker. He surely is missed. Was just thinking about him.
