Mike, Dave, Janice, Diane and all of the Sharp Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all! I remember as a kid when your Mom and Dad babysat me, and then Janice and Diane got roped into it! I can remember making chokecherry jelly or syrup with her! I have some really great memories! Your mom was always good to me, and I am glad she is now in a better place and with your Dad once again!

Our Friends,
I so sorry for the pain you are going through. We have a whole childhood of memories of Betty. She was a rock for me with that wonderful smile of welcome. You knew you were loved. My second Mom is what I called her. I will miss her, but I know she will be in our conversations for years to come.
Peace be with your family with prayers.

I met Betty in the early 70’s when I was trying to get through my impressionable hell raising years. I immediately saw Betty as an extremely strong supportive woman. Her wisdom she freely imparted on me as well as on her children. I did not always heed Betty’s advice but her little voice remained with me as I struggled through those formative years. I visited Betty a few times throughout the years and she always treated me with kindness and respect for which I loved her. I pray that God’s blessings will shower Betty’s family throughout this difficult time.
Louie Phillipp Sharp says
No one ever had a better Mother and Friend. She was warm and friendly. I will miss hearing her genuine laugh when her and i would share a joke or a funny story. Her life was full of hardship but she never complained. She saw goodness in all people. She always found happiness and joy in the small simple things in life. I know without any doubt that she has earned a place in God’s house. Though I will miss her I take comfort in knowing she is in a better place and is not suffering any longer. I feel her spirit in my heart and know she will guide me through the rest of my life. I will see you again Mother. I love you.

Betty was a very special person. Always had a smile for everyone, a twinkle in her eyes, and a great laugh. We’ll miss her. Cherish and share the memories you have of your mother and she will live on in your hearts forever. God Bless you all.
DIANE RUSHFORD says
Mom, I will miss seeing you several times each week! I have spent the last 7 years helping take care of you and heavily advocated for you! It taught me a lot about the healthcare system. When you came out of the Intensive care unit you were doing really good and I thought you would be able to come home and share your 87th Birthday with us! Janice and I went to the gravesite and released some balloons into the sky on your Birthday! As for your girls, Our Lives won’t be the same without you Mom, you were the glue that held some of us together and for that, we are grateful! I hope you are resting in peace Mom and we will remember you each day when we awake! Your Daughter, Diane.
