Brian Keith Losett, loving husband, father & grandfather passed away with his wife at his side August 12, 2016 in Bozeman Deaconess Hospital after a short illness. He was 53 years old.
Brian was born in Miles City, MT on May 25, 1963, the youngest of three sons where he attended grade school and high school. He played baseball, tennis & especially excelled in basketball. As a child, he loved spending time at the family farm in Circle and years later shared this special place with his sons. He was also very close to his late grandmother, Alice, and visited her often.
He went on to attend MSUB (Eastern) earning BSBA in 1986. He then earned an MBA from MSU in 1988.
As a father, Brian was very devoted to his three sons, Christopher, Jacob & Nicholas & traveled extensively for their hockey & baseball games in addition to coaching Chris’ All-Star baseball team.
Brian loved the outdoors, hunting & fishing (catching but not eating!). He also loved to travel anywhere there was a beach! He especially loved his dogs, always at his side and/or on his lap.
Brian was employed at Power Townsend for 28 years where he was the Purchasing and Advertising Executive. Throughout the years, his co-workers became special friends & a 2nd family. You were so close to his heart.
On February 5, 2013 Brian married Bonnie Elliott in Maui. They enjoyed 3 ½ wonderful years together. Earlier this year, they made treasured memories on a Western Caribbean Cruise. They were blessed to have spent time in Miles City this July with his father and brother where Brian entertained by catching a turtle instead of a fish dinner for his Dad!
Brian is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, his sons Chris (Melissa) and grandson Zeke of Billings, Jake of Rapid City, SD and Nick of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by his father Kenneth and brother Kent, both of Miles City, MT. Step-children include Michelle & Nick Elliott & step-grandchildren Miles, Meryn, Alexis & Dylan.
The family would like to thank family and friends for the love and support during this difficult time. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N Montana Ave with a reception to follow the service in the banquet hall of the funeral home.

I’ve only known Brian a short time but I will miss seeing him walking through Power Townsend picking at me saying “there she is coming and going as she pleases” and his smile in general. Bonnie, my prayer now is that you feel God’s love and presence and find peace in Him.

Kent, I am so deeply saddened by the news today of Brian’s passing. You were a great neighbor all those years ago in Miles City. I guess he is now resting with Jeff. It is not fair that you have to bury your sons. Hugs to you and your son, Kent. May peace be with you. Alison Boe Schwarzkopf
