“Goo goo g’joob.” I’m going to miss my egg deliveries from the eggman. I’ve known Dean and Kathleen since 2005 when they joined to help form our local Gold Wing chapter and two nice people you will never find. Dean used to come to my office and visit often. I missed the visits when he retired. He was a very friendly guy who would go out of his way to help anybody. I am going to miss him a lot. I’m glad I had the pleasure of knowing him and having him as a friend. All our prayers go out to him, Kathleen and their entire family.

I’ve know Dean and Kathleen since I worked at the health dept and he was the furnace man. Lots of laughter over the years with both of you, mostly at Dairy Queen for lunch. Was so sorry to hear of his passing. This is a difficult time for all, as I have just gone through this with my husband. My prayers are there for you Kathleen to use as often as you need them. I can’t be there for the funeral as I’m wintering in AZ, but will be home in April, if I can be of any help please let me know.

My sincere belated condolences. I was a classmate of Dean at Evanston Township High School and later a fraternity brother at the University of Nebraska where I considered Dean a good friend. I have wondered how he was doing at times over the many years and pleased that he had a fine life and family. My best wishes to all that were impacted by his loss

My memories of Dean go back to childhood. He was always such a kind and decent young man, and asked me to join him at a movie when we were yet kids of 14 or so. My parents nixed it saying I was to young, even though Dean had gotten permission from his folks. So, while he never became my first “date,” he was always a gentle friend. RIP Dean, and many condolences to your family.
