Dixie Louise (Williams) Melton, 62 of Helena died peacefully surrounded by her family on Oct. 25, 2010 here in Helena.
Dixie was born in Kalispell Sept. 12, 1948. She was the youngest child of Elwyn (Shan) and Iris (Sipes) Williams. She worked at Motel 6 for 26 years, 13 years of that was general manager. She had three beautiful daughters. She will be remembered by her loving attitude for everyone and her beautiful smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Judy and Beatrice; one grandson, Zachary and good friend, Rose Melton.
She is survived by her sister, Wilma (Winkie) Grant; daughters, Tina (Steve) Walks, Michell (Ted) Gantenbein, Shannon (Richard) Clausen; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; very good friends Ron and Dean.
Dixie will be placed at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A potluck reception in remembrance of Dixie will be held at the Moose Lodge,4750 N. Montana Ave, at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, 2010.
