On July 1, 2013 during the evening hours Francene L. Cummings (Conan) passed away due to drowning.
Francene was born in American Falls, Idaho on July 2, 1948 and spent her youth near Blackfoot Idaho. She graduated from Blackfoot High in 1966 and joined the US Army in 1967. Francene was honorably discharged in 1971. During her military time she met her lifetime partner Jerry M Cummings. They married in 1969.
She gave birth to a son, Jason W. Cummings in 1970, followed in 1972 a second son Ian S. Cummings. In 1976 she gave birth to a daughter Amy N. Cummings and another son Jack C Cummings in 1983.
One of Francene’s greatest losses was the death of her daughter in 1992.
She retired after a career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana. Francene was an attractive woman, intelligent, kind and a caring parent who loved her husband, her children and nurturing her flowers, bushes and trees, taking special delight in the outdoor birds and her inside cats. She kept a wonderful home with an eye toward developing a family history.
Francene is survived by her husband of almost 44 years, Jerry Cummings of East Helena, Montana, her eldest son Jason and his wife Lena Cummings of Corpus Christe, Texas, son Ian and his wife April Cummings…Granddaughter Abigail and Grandson Jacob of Corpus Christe, Texas, son Jack and his wife Amanda Cummings…step Granddaughter Candice and Grandson Jack Jr. of Missoula, Montana. Mother Donna Conan of Blackfoot, Idaho, Twin sister Francis and John Moore of Colorado Springs Colorado, Brother Edward Conan of Chubbuck, Idaho, sister Debra and Blake Patrick of Blackfoot, Idaho, Deena and Mike Jurak of Kimberly, Idaho and numerous nephews and nieces.
Francene is missed and loved.
