Helen Lucille Crapo, 86, of Waterford passed away November 10, 2010. She was born August 19, 1924 in Pueblo, CO to Herbert W. and Grace Miller Averill.
Helen graduated from Central High School in Pueblo. In 1942 she moved to Albuquerque, NM where she graduated from Browning Business College.
She joined the MST&T Co. working until her marriage to Charles D. Crapo on August 30, 1952. He preceded her in death October 9, 2005. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Montana, living in Billings, Butte and Helena. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Helena parish and loved camping, bowling, and gardening.
Helen is survived by son Michael (Cathee) Crapo of Centennial, CO, grandchildren Mrs. William (Tracee) McKay of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Ryan Crapo of Denver, CO, and great-grandchildren Cody and Nicole McKay and Oliver Crapo; daughter Mrs. David (Karen) Murray of Cheney, WA, grandchildren, Mrs. Jacob (Jennifer) Oxrieder of Cheney, WA and Mrs. Sean (Jessica) Hopf of Spokane, WA and Andrew (Bonnie) Murray of Portland, OR.
Rosary will be recited on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home where friends may call beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 1200 p.m. at Cathedral of St. Helena. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice.
